Training

Training is the foundation of athletics performance. At Aspley our athletes have access to qualified coaches  who will help them to achieve their best. Please be aware that coaches are unable to provide instruction during competitions. We recommend that athletes attend training sessions on a regular basis to improve and refine their skills.

Things to Bring/Wear to Training
  • Water
  • Comfortable clothing that allows you to run, jump and throw easily
  • Well-fitting sports shoes
  • Insect repellent
  • A good attitude!

Training Schedule
First night of training for 2022 is Monday 29th August.
Our training runs September through to March every Monday and Wednesday evening. Sessions cover a full range of events and are designed to assist children of varying ages and ability levels. Training session timetables are as follows:

5.30pm - 6.30pm
5.30pm -  7pm
5.30pm -  6.30pm
