Registration
To compete with Aspley Little Athletics you must first register as a Club member.
All athletes who wish to register with the Club must produce identification with proof of age (Birth certificate or passport) as part of the registration process. Make sure you bring these documents with you to sign-on.
Aspley Little Athletics is proud to be sponsored by Kedron-Wavell Services Club and as part of this ongoing relationship we encourage our families to become members of the KWSC. It's only $5 to join and you can enjoy a great range of benefits.
As Little Athletics is a sporting body centred around children we encourage all parents and guardians intending to volunteer their time as part of any aspect of Aspley Little Athletics Club's operations (including marshalling, officiating, canteen duties etc.) to undergo a Queensland Government "Working with Children" suitability check - also known as the "Blue Card" system. The link to complete your application online is here

Volunteer Bonds
Volunteers are the backbone of Little Athletics and without their valuable contributions Aspley Little Athletics could not exist. Our Club relies purely on volunteer help to run our program all year round. We have implemented a Volunteer Levy that each family is required to pay at the start of each season. The volunteer bond will be refundable at the end of the season if parents/guardians complete a total of 120 Volunteer points throughout the season. It is a requirement that you must complete a portion of your roster before the Christmas break (if you sign-on before Christmas) and a portion after the Christmas break. There will be several other opportunities throughout the year to attend working bees that will also count towards your volunteer contribution for the season. If the required number of roster commitments are not fulfilled, you will forfeit your volunteer bond. For further information about the levy and the type of jobs we need completed, please contact the committee.
Rules
The Rosslyn O'Brien Athlete Handbook contains our Club's General Rules as well as a number of Little Athletics Queensland's policies including the LAQ Code of Conduct and Zero Tolerance Policy. It is important that all of our athletes and their guardians are familiar with the content of these policies. The full listing of LAQ's policies and guidelines are available from their Policies and Plans page.
